Real People
Diane is our Chief Brewster & 5th generation Pearly Queen. Raised on the street markets of London, Diane’s whole life has been about serving her community, now she lives in Sussex it’s no different.
“To me brewing beer is more than making a lovely ale, it’s about bringing communities together & telling stories, that is our passion here at Furnace Brook Brewery is to make beer that connects and supports local communities”
Real Beer
We are delighted to be continuing the tradition of producing real craft beers from local, Sussex hops here at Furnace Brook.
The hops are either produced on site or sourced from local family hop farm and hop farmers extraordinaire A Bushel of Hops, one of only 60 remaining hop farms throughout the UK.
With those we make small-batch, hand crafted beer with no finings or sulphites,
just delicious tasting beer!
Real Stories
We all have stories to tell, they tell us of our past, inform us on the present and allow us to imagine a future. A future that can only be achieved together; by sharing our stories, by working together and by supporting each other. That’s why Furnace Brook Brewery is operated by a community interest company where all surplus revenues go towards community arts & educational initiatives.
